Swift Conservatory Solutions Ltd was established in March 2009 by friends and work colleagues Chris Swift & Mark Simpson. Chris & Mark have worked together for many years at one of the UK’s largest manufacturers of DIY Conservatories based in Barnsley South Yorkshire.

In August 2008 the company relocated from Barnsley to Lancashire to join other group companies on one huge site. Chris & Mark decided that they would like to use their vast knowledge and experience in the DIY Conservatory market to help customers choose a Conservatory which perfectly suited their requirements. Swift Conservatory Solutions Ltd was established with the goal of providing a product & level of customer service second to none within the conservatory industry.

Over their many years in the industry Chris & Mark have been at the forefront of product development to ensure that the product they now sell is the best DIY Conservatory available. Every new initiative with regards to product design has been to make the conservatory easier to install for the DIY customer.

DIY Conservatory Expert: Chris Swift

Chris is a builder by trade and worked for many years in the building industry. Whilst training Chris won many awards for bricklaying which showed his outstanding eye for detail and workmanship. Chris moved into the Conservatory industry in 1998 and has since gained vast experience in all aspects of Conservatory manufacture and installation. The last five years of his career were spent in the Technical Department where he designed products for manufacture and advised DIY Conservatory customers in all aspects of their conservatory project from building foundations through to fitting handles. Chris’s knowledge and experience is second to none and he works with the customer’s needs always at the forefront of his thinking.

DIY Conservatory Expert: Mark Simpson

Mark initially trained as a joiner but has been in the conservatory industry since 1986. Mark worked and managed in all areas of the business so fully understands how the DIY Conservatory industry operates from initial sales enquiries through to procurement of stock, to manufacture/installation of the product & after sales customer service. Mark spent the last ten years of his career managing the Sales, Technical & Customer Service Departments and like Chris always has the customer’s needs at the forefront of his thinking.

As you know by now, Chris & Mark do not purport to be sales people but are exceptionally strong technically, with many years experience manufacturing, building and installing conservatories. They are very highly thought of within the DIY conservatory industry and still help & advise people from other companies with regards to technical conservatory issues.

Their family backgrounds in the mining villages of Barnsley have ensured that they are straight talking, honest family men who will always give every customer the best possible help & advise before, during and after their DIY conservatory installation.
